8 Ways To Increase Facebook Page Engagement

Facebook has changed quite a bit since the very beginning.

Here are 10 tactics that you can try today to increase your Facebook Page engagement.

Posting less will allow you to focus on quality instead of quantity.

One to two posts a day will do the trick, don’t feel obligated to compete (in a number of posts) with well-known brands who most likely have their own social media team of experts to post content and engage.

Curate Content

“A process of content curation is the act of sorting through large amounts of content on the web and presenting the best posts in a meaningful and organized way. It’s the act of discovering, compiling, and sharing existing content with your online followers.” – A Beginner’s Guide to Conten

This process may very well be time consuming.

Here’s a pro tip.

When you have a handful of go-to content sources. Bookmark them and organize them into a folder.

Each day, start your curation by going to your bookmarks, right-clicking the folder, and opening all the sites at once.

Boosted Posts

Boosting your posts will keep your budget on the low while reaching a larger audience with no extra time spent on content creation.

Prime Time

Post when your followers are most active to increase your engagement. Analyze best performing posts to find what works the best for your business.

According to Sprout Social if you decide to post once or twice a day aim to hit the dark shades of blue.

The best times to post on Facebook for consumer goods brands are Thursday at 2 p.m. and Friday at 11 a.m.

Other notable high engagement times are Wednesday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday at 4 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Safe to post weekdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (likely for at-work online shoppers).

Weekends have the lowest engagement rates for consumer goods brands.

If you plan to post on the weekends, post around 10 a.m. – 11a.m. on Saturdays when the majority of the population starts waking up.

On Sunday post after church hours and before people start getting ready for the work week.

Take Your Own Photos

People are more likely to engage with your post that is unique to your brand rather than engage with a link or a text.

Many businesses rely on stock photos, don’t make that mistake. Show of some personality and the way you run your business.

Show the struggles and the challenges, after all, we are all human and we all go through the same things. Truth is powerful and should not be taken for granted.

Engage

Reply to your loyal fans. Show your loyal fans that you are listening to them.

Create automatic messages to let your customers know that you will get in touch soon if you are busy.

Direct Video Uploads

Copying-and-pasting a link to your recent Youtube video just won’t cut it anymore.

People are way too busy. No one has that kind of time to click on the link and wait for the content to load.

Get in a habit of uploading video content directly to your Facebook Page.

Youtube and Facebook are two different platforms, that means you cannot share a YouTube video on Facebook and have it play automatically.

Upload your videos natively to have your video play automatically without any redirects.

Facebook Stories

Instagram stories are a hit. Facebook stories aren’t as popular as Instagram, therefore, they open an opportunity to enter a non-saturated market.

Unlike Instagram, it’s a  chance to stand out among others.

Facebook stories expire within 24 hours, which makes them a great tool to run limited time offers.

 Good luck!
